The lively little rabbit is scared of the Grouchy mean weasel that keeps trying to eat him and his brothers and sisters, when is friends (and squirrel and an owl) come up with a plan to scare him back. Perfect for the child that is just starting to read. Pre-K to Second Grade.

This would be a great story to tell orally because it is a fun story for children to listen to. It has some suspense and can be interpreted in all different ways.

Reading such tales from beautifully illustrated books is a wonderful experience for young children. They need oral stories to help them develop their visual imaginations.
